Lifetime Experiences

Nepal

Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and home to the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest, is one of the most beautiful, diverse, and exotic travel destinations on the planet.

Nepal's allure is enhanced by its vibrant culture, breathtaking mountain scenery, religious faiths, age-old temples, historical towns, and status as the home of ten UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Nepal, located between India and China, is home to eight of the world's fourteen highest mountain peaks.

Trekking in Nepal is one of the many reasons why tourists flock to this Himalayan kingdom each year, possibly because Nepal has the best trekking trails in the world. Trekkers will have many options, with the most popular areas being the Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang regions, as well as the well-known Mera Peak and Island Peak.

Nepal has much more to offer than just mountain climbing and trekking, such as white water rafting, canyoning, paragliding, mountain flights, kayaking, bungee jumping, mountain biking, or a chance to see a Bengal tiger or the rare one-horned rhinoceros. These and other wonders await you in Nepal.

When to visit Nepal

The best seasons to visit Nepal are spring (March to May) and autumn or fall (September to November). The weather is pleasant during these seasons, with plenty of sunlight and warmth. The sky is clear, allowing you to fully appreciate the spectacular Nepalese landscape, complete with panoramic Himalayan views.

These seasons also happen to be the best times for adventure travel in Nepal.

Trekking can also be done in the winter (December to February), especially in hilly areas, but it gets much colder and snowier as you get higher up. It should be noted that global warming has caused a change in the regular climate all over the world, including Nepal. Please be prepared for changing weather conditions during your Nepal trip.
