Nepal Trek and Community Project with REACH for Nepal Foundation

Our community rebuild project to Nepal will take you to see the world's highest mountains up close, experience genuine Nepalese culture, and contribute to a worthwhile community Project.

You will head to the Annapurna region after spending time in the capital city of Kathmandu. Starting from Pokhara, the group will go into the foothills of the Annapurna, where they will be greeted with stunning panoramas of the Himalayas and have enough possibilities to interact with the local villagers.

We'll roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty in a remote village in western Nepal, where we'll help locals renovate their school/amenities block (or another project suitable). This is going to be the highlight of your trip because you will get to experience authentic village life.

You will sleep either in the classrooms or in a tent pitched in the school playground.

Trip Highlights

  • Visit Pashupatinath (a Hindu temple) and Boudhanath (a Buddhist shrine) as part of your exploration of Kathmandu

  • Admire the majestic Annapurna Himalaya Range.

  • Trek the Annapurna Mountains, one of the world's most popular trails, with porters and guides.

  • Develop a greater comprehension of Nepal's history, culture, society, and people.

  • Take part in a three-day community project while enjoying a fully supported camping trip that includes three healthy meals that are prepared by the Nepal Adventures team.

Testimonial

'The Canberra Grammar School trip to Nepal in April 2018 with REACH for Nepal foundation & Nepal Adventures was one of the best travel experiences I have been associated with as Head of the Outdoor Education Department at the school.

With representation both here in Australia and in Nepal, the organisation of the trip was very smooth and all aspects of travel were dealt with in a professional manner.  Having representatives here in Canberra made a big difference in terms of communication and planning resulting in a high level of confidence in the organisation of the trip.

...........The trip exceeded our expectations and I look forward to organising future expeditions through the REACH for Nepal foundation over coming years
